By submitting to us, you accept and agree on the following points below:
You retain ownership of the copyright in your Content, subject to the rights granted to us in this Agreement. In exchange for our providing you with this platform for expression and with potential exposure to genteinternacional.com readers, which you agree is valuable consideration, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, reproduce, modify, adapt, license, sublicense, distribute, sell, perform, translate, and display your Content (including any drawings, images, sounds, video recordings, or other data embedded in your Content and including adaptations or derivative works based on your Content) for any purpose, in any language, and in any manner or medium (now existing or hereafter developed) (the “Rights”). If your work has been published previously elsewhere online, you must update your article with a new title and approximately 20 percent new and different content in the body. This allows Google and other search engines to pick up the article as a unique article.
PRESENTATIONS – SUBMISSION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ESSAYS
Gente Internacional Magazine is a biannual and independent print magazine of photography, art, culture and lifestyle. In addition to the printed magazine, the website Gente Internacional Magazine works as a platform to disseminate the work of photographers who share our aesthetics and fit in with the visual feeling we value. For this purpose, we regularly publish on the website exclusive photographic essays, designated by us as ‘web stories’, full of emotion and sensuality, and sometimes with nudity.
Being a publication available online completely free of charge, it is usually not possible to offer any payment for the submitted works.
GUIDE FOR SUBMISSION
– The photos presented must be exclusive for Gente Internacional Magazine, which means that they were not published in other publications or websites. The publication prior to the presentation of only some of the photos on social networks may be acceptable.
– Each photo essay should have a story or a theme so that there is at least some coherence in the session.
– Each photo essay must have a title.
– Photo essays are usually accompanied by a short introductory text, written by us. For this introduction to be interesting, provide some information about the photo shoot: where it was made; what it wants the viewer to feel; how the session ran; who is the model; how he defines his style; etc.
– Provide the following information for benefits: (1) name of the photographer; (2) name of the template; (3) name of other equipment items – make-up & hair, etc .; (4) photographer’s website; (5) template website; (6) Photographer’s Instagram; (7) Instagram of the model.
– The name of the photographer and the model will be publicly disclosed. Works submitted by photographers or models who wish to remain anonymous will not be accepted.
– Each photo essay should ideally have 10 to 20 photos, and never less than 6 photos.
– Some photos may include nudes but not all.
– Photos must be at least 1200 px wide, with 300 dpi, in JPG format.
– The shipment should ideally be done through Dropbox or WeTransfer.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
– All models must be at least 18 years old at the time of capture of the photos.
– You must be the owner of the copyright of the photos to be able to make the submission.
– Must be the owner of the authorization document of the model (model release) to be able to submit the photos.
– By submitting the photographs, you are authorizing Revista Gente Internacional, or third parties designated by it, to reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, create derivative works, distribute, allow access to the public and/or incorporate your contribution in other works in any medium.
Please, send your submission directly to: [email protected]
Please note that due to the large number of emails we receive we can not respond individually to each of the submissions. You will only contact photographers whose work is considered for publication on the website and/or the magazine.
